Nvizible opens studio in Belfast

London visual effects house Nvizible has opened a branch in Belfast, after ear-marking it as a geographical area of growth in the film industry with a shortage of vfx suppliers.

“We are now able to bring the very best vfx work to Belfast, both feature film and high-end television projects," says Nvizible MD Kris Wright. "In tandem with this growth of vfx in Belfast, we're going to nurture a talent pool of local artists to work on these shows. This is something young, aspiring vfx artists in Northern Ireland have never had the chance to do before.”

Nvizible Provides VFX for Disney’s ‘Muppets Most Wanted’

Key sequences provided by Nvizible included the iconic theatre performance and the Muppets train, with crowd replication for the theatre audiences, interior train environments as well as poster additions to the building frontages.

Monty Python’s Terry Jones talks Absolutely Anything

Screen Daily announce that Nvizible have been awarded all of the VFX for Terry Jones' new film, Absolutely Anything.

Shooting begins on Monday (March 24) and Absolutely Anything is a high-concept comedy starring Simon Pegg and Kate Beckinsale.

The Art of VFX

Making visual effects sit seamlessly into a scene is something that requires extensive planning and a great deal of teamwork between the Director, DP and VFX supervisor.  The aim is to ensure there are no surprises on the shoot so everything goes to plan and the teams of vfx artists can make th emost of the shot material.
