Nvizible is currently looking to expand its CG team with an experienced Senior Creature Rigger.
Job Description: Senior Creature Rigger builds skeletal and muscle systems and animation controls for digital creatures. Rigging requires an understanding of anatomy and expression, and riggers work closely with animators to design a set of controls that support all of the desired range of poses and behaviors. Scripting is often used to construct more sophisticated rigs, so good programming or scripting skills are essential. Riggers are responsible for creation, revision, maintenance and support of their work.
* Expert knowledge of Maya particularly Maya rigging tools including joint and skeleton creation, skinning and weighting, IK setup, blend-shapes, and deformers.
* Must have good understanding of shape, composition, physical motion, weight and balance.
* Experience with muscle and skin simulations
* Experience with facial animation setups and controls
* Skill and experience in the use of subdivision surfaces.
* Excellent understanding of anatomy, volumes and masses, dynamics and character motion
* Advanced Mel and Python scripting, gui and toolset creation for animators.
* Must be able to work within a team environment.
* Must have good communication and verbal skills. Must be open to direction and able to embrace change.
* 4+ years experience in CG animation for film, television or games.

VFX Coordinator
Nvizible are looking to recruit a UK/EU based VFX Co-ordinator for short term freelance work.

Reports to: Head of Production
• Create work orders and shot sheets.
• Work closely with the VFX Supervisor and editorial client.
• Work with Lead Compositor to prioritize shots within the department.
• Review data management organization and naming conventions with Data Manager.
• Provide updates on work to VFX Producer on a timely basis.
• Schedule and Prep Dailies screenings throughout the day as needed.

Experienced Pipeline Developer

Nvizible is currently looking to expand its technical team with an experienced pipeline developer who can head up the 3D side of the pipeline team.
The ideal candidate would primarily have experience in the 3D side of VFX pipelines, and would have worked with and developed for pipelines at medium to large VFX facilities.
You would need to have at least 4 years experience in R&D within the VFX industry, primarily developing for Maya. Knowledge of Maya's Python and MEL is essential, and knowing the C++ API is preferred. Experience with SQL databases is essential.
You would have experience with commercial or in-house asset management systems, and would understand how artists interface with the software, and how data flows through the production process.
You would also preferably have experience leading a small team, and designing and delegating tasks to less experienced developers.
Candidates should have 4+ years of VFX-related development experience

We are currently hiring UK and EU based Nuke compositors for immediate positions on feature film projects in London.
Job Description: Compositors seamlessly integrate all the layers or elements of a shot, including live-action and computer graphic elements. Compositors work closely with Visual Effects Supervisors and CG Supervisors to composite the numerous elements that complete a visual effects shot.
* 2D tracking, matte extraction, layering of elements and colour grading.
* Blue/green screen extractions
* Seamless integration of live action, miniature and CGI sources.
* Follow production pipelines
* Develop creative approaches and problem-solving
* Take part in daily reviews
